{ Melt Proof Make-up Products & Tips! }
Melt-Proof Makeup? Yes, Please!
It’s not even summer and you’ve about had it yesterday with your foundation sweating off your face, your mascara running down your cheeks, and your gorgeous eyeshadow creasing all over the place. We know, we know, hot weather blows when it comes to keeping your cosmetics on lockdown. But don’t sweat it—these melt-proof makeup options stay put so you don’t have to.
1. Primer- Much like primer for painting, it ensures that you have smooth & even surface on which to apply cosmetics & helps makeup properly adhere to the skin.
2. Powder Foundation- powder foundation will cover your skin to even it out and make it look glowy without risking melting (since it’s oil free) .
+Apply a powder foundation with a brush in a circular motion buffing it into the skin. This works the best because it gives a seamless natural finish that doesn’t look like makeup. It also combats shine, and it’s an all-in-one foundation & powder application!
+if you opt for a liquid, use one with silicone in it-it acts as a barrier between your skin and humidity so the foundation stays where it should.
3. Eyelid primer- Apply before your eyeshadow for more vibrant CREASE-FREE color that lasts for 24 hours.
4. Gel or Liquid Liner-• Oil-free formula holds highly concentrated pigments in a clear gel base
• Smudge-proof and waterproof for 24 hours
5. Smudgeproof mascara- Most smudge proof mascaras are also waterproof but there are certain differences between the two. While waterproof mascara is resistant to water and tears, smudge proof mascara is more resistant against oil and sweat. Thus, smudge proof mascara is highly recommended for people living in hot and humid environments and for those working for long hours.
6. Lip stain-like a magic marker for your lips
7. Setting spray- Mist on this weightless spray to give your makeup serious staying power. It actually lowers the temperature of your makeup to keep foundation, eyeshadow, blush, and concealer in place—even in hot and humid climates.
8. Blot papers-No matter how many great products in your arsenal, you’re still going to sweat. Do not cake on layer after layer of powder to try to get rid of t-zone shine. Instead, keep a pack of blotting paper in your purse to soak up oil, sweat while leaving makeup in place.
{Bikini Ready Beauty}
Need to be in a bikini soon? Sometimes we don’t always have time to prep for months in advance to achieve that perfect bikini body. Instead, time creeps up on us and suddenly we’re left in last-minute panic mode that we need to be in a swimsuit and haven’t had enough time to do all those crunches we intended on doing!
Don’t panic! Instead, get yourself bikini-ready in no time with a few products that will help you feel your best. From self tanning cream to anti-cellulite lotion, a few small steps can yield big results at the beach. These products will help you get ready for that itsy bitsy bikini, even if you only have a few days (or a few hours) until you make your debut.

3.Nip+Fab Cellulite fix body sculpting gel~A relatively affordable option, Cellulite Fix from Nip + Fab comes in the form of a thick gel that needs to be massaged into target areas twice daily to attack cellulite and help sculpt and redefine your silhouette.
Containing caffeine, which is known for its cellulite reducing properties, on application the gel does feel a bit sticky but sinks in to skin relatively quickly leaving behind minimal residue. It has quite a powerful woody aroma and a few minutes after application, you start to feel a cooling sensation as the product gets to work.
Use in place of your body moisturiser for a minimal of four weeks prior to your holiday to ensure maximum benefit. We also recommend using a body scrub in conjunction with Cellulite Fix to help deliver the best possible results – thoroughly massaging in both products will not only help improve circulation, but it’ll also make it easier to achieve smoother looking skin.

1.HAIR REMOVAL All you have to do is apply this liquid to the affected area and you’ll see an improvement in 1-2 days! This product is great for men and women so feel free to share with the man in your life.
2. EXFOLIATE ALL OF YOUR SKIN exfoliating your skin can remove all of the dead cells and make it super soft and clear! I know that I exfoliate my face all of the time, but I never thought about exfoliating my stomach, my arms and my legs – but now that I do? It really makes my skin glow and shine!

4.Problem: Stretch Marks
Solution: Self-Tanner
Giving yourself an allover bronze this Summer will distract from an uneven skin tone. To camouflage stretch marks, strategically apply a self-tanner like Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs ($14) with a Q-tip on lighter marks.
5.SELF TANNERBefore you hit the pool, you might want to consider giving yourself a little bit of a tan. Self-tanners have to be on the top of this list of products for bikini season! Bronzing our skin not only makes our skin glow but it can also make us appear leaner and more toned! If you’re not into spray tans, they also have mousse and lotions if that’s more of your thing!

6.Problem: Bruises
Solution: Body Cover-Up
Somehow, Summer seems to lend itself to more unidentified bumps and bruises. For excellent coverage, turn to body makeup, such as Dermablend Leg and Body Cover SPF 15 ($28). This professional-grade product can even mask tattoos. Just apply over dark spots and top with the setting powder ($24) for all-day coverage.

7.Problem: Spider Veins
Solution: Yellow Concealer
Minimize the appearance of blue-green lines caused by varicose and spider veins by using a yellow or orange waterproof concealer like Maybelline Cover Stick Corrector ($5). Then apply a body foundation over the top to cover the problem spots
{Spring/Summer 2013 Hair Styles}
I am excited over these Spring/Summer 2013 hair trends, which require minimum effort for maximum style.
~SOFT WAVES
What better way could there be to welcome warm weather days than with carefree curls waves? This season, even the smallest hint of a wave adds oodles of sex appeal to any outfit or occasion.
How-to~Add a little product through your locks and create a few random curls using a wand; brush these out and backcomb a few strands at random.
~SUPER STRAIGHT
Waves are not your thing? They aren’t mine either – my hair just falls flat within minutes of being twisted into pretty spirals. Good news: super-straight locks are back in vogue. There is one rule though… make sure your locks are in top condition before trying this trend.
How-to~ Bring out the flat-iron for poker straight locks. And don’t forget the heat protective spray. To add a little more jazz…twist two strands from the front of your hair and clip them together at the back. Bring out the flat-iron for poker straight locks. And don’t forget the heat protective spray.
~SLICK & SHINY
Feeling adventurous? The “wet look” hair trend might just be for you. And it works for short bobs as well as shoulder-length (or longer) hair.
How-to~ Just add a little hair gel at the roots, then comb through the top of your head.
~FRINGE BENEFITS
Bangs – both soft and edgy – are really, really hot right now… And the fringe length is entirely variable: they can be eyelash skimming for evenings and slightly parted for day-to-day wear.
How-to~Keep your fringe smooth by blowdrying in a downward direction, then comb to the side with hair spray to keep it into place.
~DEEP SIDE PARTS
The most relaxed of hairstyles look super-feminine with an ultra-deep side part – whether they are simple and sleek or wild and wavy. Just try out a simple side part with your natural texture.
How-to~casual: Let your hair dry naturally, kinks and all, and then smooth with a finishing serum for added shine.
~THE NEW LOW PONY
While 2012’s styles were high and slick, this season’s ponytail is positioned low, hovering just at or below the nape; and it’s ironed straight.
How-to~ To mix it up a bit, brighten up the pony tail and work in a few coloured strands (hair chalk works brilliantly for a temporary color effect here). Low and wide
~THE VERSATILE UPDO
Classic or modern, edgy or feminine, subtle or dramatic… this updo can match up with pretty much whatever outfit you are wearing at any time of the day. Going casual: Gather hair together, twist into a ballerina bun at the top of your head, and secure using an elastic band and bobby pins. If your hair tends to get frizzy, spritz a bit of finishing spray all over.
~BRAIDS WITH A TWIST
Pretty braids are never far from the catwalks, but this year’s styles are all about being creative. Opt for a twist or a fishtail braid rather than the traditional, or just add mini braids through a wavy down-do.
How-to~ The milkmaid braid is an all-time favourite and this season we are seeing a more grown up version. Make two braids on both sides of your scalp, then pin them up over your head – like a hairband.
For a more natural look, side braid is a sure-fire hair hit.
~RETRO GLAMOUR
1960s are the flavor of the season and these classic look can be glammed up for a beautiful wedding ‘do or made casual with a headband.
How-to~Add soft waves and curls throughout your hair and then, working from a side-parting, gently sweep the front section back from your face and clip behind your head.
~TOPPING IT OFF
Nothing adds an extra spring/summer twist to your hairstyle like a pretty hair accessory. And this time around, there are a multitude of options, right from sporty headbands and oversized fabric flowers to pretty pearls and printed scarves. Going casual: Add a girly headband to your side-braid or fringe for a younger finish.
Off-duty-model look: Just pin hair up, in a slightly messy air and tie a folded headscarf around the head. For an extra touch of trendy glamour, make sure the knot is off centre.
Formal affair: Think pearls and crystals… chicness and opulence rolled into one pretty package.
Spring/Summer 2013 { Sexy Style }
Edgy Pixie hair cuts, asymmetrical styles & “lobs” (code for long bob) will be all the rage this spring summer. As for color, I predict less fussy, more organic looks. Brunettes will stick to an ombre’ type color, while reds will stay rich but maybe lighten it up a shade or two to keep with the sun’s natural fading tendencies. Blondes will go for a two toned defined look. Still craving that platinum shade around the face but offsetting it with beige or warmer low-lights.
{Age Defying Hair Tricks}
Is your hair aging you?
Perhaps it’s time for a change and it doesn’t have to be drastic.
Simple changes can trim years off your age.
1. Hair Health
If your hair is lacking moisture, start by giving yourself a deep conditioning treatment. I use NuMe HYDRO PUNCH Hydrating Mask weekly and the NuMe HYDRO PUNCH Hydrating Intense Oil daily. As a bonus for my readers NuMe has offered 60% off of all of their hair products! Seriously a deal too good to pass up! Just go to numeproducts.com and enter code: tiph60 (case sensitive) to get your hair fabulous today!
2. Be Vibrant!
Color is by far the best way to upgrade your look and make you look younger. Full color is not always necessary, though. For some, subtle highlights can turn the clock back ten or more years!
3. Upgrade You!
Another great way to turn back the clock is to get an updated haircut. We all get comfortable in what we know, but an outdated cut could be aging you. Shake things up with some layers or soft fringe.
4. Don`t be Stiff
Even with fabulous color and a great cut, if you`re not sporting the proper style, you could be holding yourself back. Stiff and super edgy hairstyles should be avoided. Think old and stiff versus young and soft. Keep it loose! Messy, curly up-dos, soft cascading curls and curly side-buns are all great styles.
5. Eyebrows are Hair Too
Don`t neglect those brows ladies! If your eyebrows are too thin you`ll look older no matter what your hairstyle or hair color. Brows shouldn`t be too bushy either. Well manicured eyebrows can make a major difference.
6. The Simple Part
Switching up your part from side to side could give you variety you never knew. Try a deep part or a shallow one to change things up.

Celebrity Nail Trends
http://fox2now.com/2013/02/13/celebrity-nail-trends/
Have you noticed some of the nail trends sported by celebrities? Women are sporting almond-shaped or even dagger-like nails painted in metallic gold or silver. Some appear bedazzled and even wild.
A few have painted one nail on each hand a different color. The single nail is often the ring finger or the pinky. The standout nail is sometimes a whole different color, or just another color in the same family.

~How to look hot when it’s cold~
De-puff tired eyes- You know it’s just a head cold, but those raccoon eyes make it seem like you were in a bar fight last night. First, use an eye cream like Yes to Cucumbers Soothing Eye Gel ($14.99, Walgreens.com). It has cucumber, which is cooling and soothing, and if you pop it in the fridge for a few minutes, it works even better.
Bring the color back to your face- To avoid looking like an extra from The Walking Dead, using a great cream or gel blush is clutch. In addition to adding color, it adds a dewy glow which perks up tired skin. A good suggestion is M.A.C Cremeblend Blush in Ladyblush ($21.00, maccosmetics.com)
Fight redness- Blue shades make the whites of your eyes look even brighter, but there’s no need to pile on the teal shadow. Instead, just swipe a layer of navy mascara, like Hard Candy’s Curl Up & Dye Lash Curling Mascara in Mr. Right ($6.00, Wal-Mart) But go easy on the lower liner—it can draw attention to dark circles. Try a nice clean line on the upper lash line with navy liner, and ever so lightly coat lower lashes with mascara for definition.
Use a wake-me-up scent- Studies show that citrus aromas can actually energize you. If a coughing fit kept you up all night, swap out your usual lotion for Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy in Lemon Zest Body Lotion. ($12.00, Bathandbodyworks.com) Every time you catch a whiff of it, you’ll get a little boost of energy.
Opt for a no-mess hairstyle- With zero energy, it’s tempting to throw your hair into a messy ponytail and call it a day. Sure, it’s low-maintenance, but you risk coming off sloppy. Go with a high bun instead. Even though it puts your whole face on display, it also draws eyes upward and lifts the face a bit, which is a must when you’re feeling dragged down. If you need some help, pick up a foam donut like the Conair Bun Maker ($3.49, Walgreens.com).
Use your powers of distraction- You can’t instantly make your runny nose or heavy lids disappear, but you can draw the attention somewhere else. Take a cue from Lawrence and use a strong lip color as your secret weapon. NP set Lip Balm with Benefits in Capri ($10, Target.com) is super pigmented and contains Vitamins A, C, E & Shea butter that helps moisturize. Plus, no one will suspect you’re sick when you’re rocking Tangerine lipstick.

Secret Beauty Tips
Wash your face with honey~
{Honey is an anti-inflammatory and really soothing for the skin.}
~Use Jell-o as long lasting lip stain
{Pour the powder mix into a bowl and moisten a Q-Tip with water. Then, being very careful not to use your fingers since the red stains stay put, dip the Q-Tip into the powder and apply it directly to your lips. I also recommend it be sugar-free}
~Beer in a spray bottle
{Pour some beer into a spray bottle and spritz it onto your locks from roots to ends. The yeast in the beer makes the hair really puffy and thick.}
~Toothpaste
{Apply small dab of toothpaste on blemishes.}
~Baby powder
{Apply some baby powder on your roots as dry shampoo.}
